I broke one of the basic tenants of journalism (and writing in general) last week. I gushed about the arrival of the galley proofs but didn’t explain what they were or why their appearance caused so much excitement. Throughout almost the entire writing process, we felt that “Forgotten” captured the essence of the story we were telling.
